Wong Hee, William Henry (1871 - 1890)

William Henry Wong Hee was the first child of William Wong Hee and Sarah (nee Reeves). According to his birth registration, William Henry was born to the 18 year old Sarah on 11 January 1871 at Percydale, Avocashire. However, his death registration records his birth place as Fiddlers Creek, near Avoca.

He was only 19 years and three months old when he died of inflammation of the lungs and heart at his parents home in Banyena, Kara Kara on 24 March, 1890. He had been suffering the affliction for four months but had not seen a medical attendant. William did not marry, and no record has been found of any children.

He was buried by the Methodist Minster W. Gould at the Burrum Burrum Cemetery, Banyena on 26 March 1890.
