Eaglehawk, Victoria, Australia - Summary
Frank Young was born in Eaglehawk near Bendigo in Victoria in January 1899. He left Australia for China in June 1900 on S.S. Eastern with his parents and siblings. Despite being born in Australia, his father, George Young, applied for exemption from the 1890 Chinese Act for the whole family and provided photographs of himself and his three sons, including Frank. It is not known if he returned to Australia after this.
