With her husband Charles she hosted many official receptions at government house, such as this one, at which the prominent Chinese businessmen of
Darwin met the South Australian governor, George Hunt, and his wife. Anna took an active part in many aspects of Territory life and was living with her two sons on Koolpinyah station when Darwin was bombed in 1942.- Type
