- Summary
Ali Hassan was an émigré from Hong Kong. He originally worked as a labourer on the building of Darwin's jetty and later worked his way to be manager of Darwin's only butcher's shop. In 1919 he married Selina Lee. They had three children: Connie, Allan and Ruby. Ali Hassan died early in 1929.
