Mick (Tung Tarn) Chinn was the third son of Maa Mon Chinn and Loola Kow You. He was born in Weldborough and moved to Melbourne with the Chinn family in the 1910s. In the mid-1930s, his mother Loola Chinn took Mick to Hong Kong to organise a marriage for him. He is the father of Wing Chinn.
