- Title
- Sun Tong Lee General Store, Gulgong
- Description
One well dressed man who appears to be Chinese stands out the front of the store. There is also a bearded western man and two girls. Western furniture (chest of drawers) and a rug are on display outside the shop.
- Date
- 1870 - 1875
- Place
- Australia - New South Wales - Gulgong
- Interpretive description
The link between the well dressed Chinese man standing outside the store and the portrait of Ah Lee is not convincing on a visual basis. While it could be the same man, the man infront of the store does not appear to have a moustache.
