Photograph taken at 124 Little Bourke Street. Car and suit suggest the photograph was probably taken in late 1950s. Couplets translated as follows. RH couplet: discusses KMT's history and achievements based on Dr Sun Yat-sen’s doctorines. LH couplet (RH side): Names of five communist marshalls: Liu Bo Xun, Ne Rong Jun, Ho Long, Yeh Jin Ying and Lo [? unsure] with a declaration that they intend to kill them). LH couplet (LH side): To clean/clear the house, expel the traitors and evil beliefs. To see the dawn in China (Hua Xia). To see the evil group lose their head in Beijing market. To burn clean/burn out/destroy with fire the red territory and to kill the head Mao.)
