E. A. G. (Jack-) Rogasch was killed in action at the Dardanelles, July 22, 1915. He was the youngest son of Mr. F. Rogasch, of Marnoo.

An obituary in the Argus (Thurs 5 August 1915) reads: 'He rose responsive to his country's call;
He gave his best, his life, his all:
He fell, a hero in the deadly strife,
For King and country he laid down his life'.
