Summary

Edward ('Teddy') Chung Gon married Gladys Sym Choon (age 34) of Adelaide, at St Paul’s Anglican Church in Adelaide in 1939. After the marriage, the couple moved to Hobart, where Edward ran a Chinese gift store called 'Pekin Gifts'. Edward and Gladys had three children, daughter Mei Ling (later Mei Ling Niel), son Kuo Went Edward James Joseph ('Gokky'), who later became a doctor (later training as an acupuncturist in China) and lives in Adelaide, and another son Kuo Kwan Robert Derwent Dare ('Bobby').
