Details
Claude Pang was born in 1916 to James Pang, herbalist, and Myrtle Louisa Lee Chew of Bendigo. He was educated in Bendigo and China, and served in the army during the second world war. After his discharge and the death of his father in 1944, Claude took over the management of his father’s herbalist business until 1980 when he retired. In 1964 he was made a life member of the Bendigo and Northern District Base Hospital. In 1950 Claude married May Ah Dore, daughter of Samuel Ah Dore and Eva Mabel Stella Rose Quinn of Bendigo. Claude died in 1987. His wife and their two children, Sharyn and Raymond, survived him.
