Lo Kwoi Sang was born c1839 in Ching Sing in Guangzhou, China. As a widower, he married widow Caroline Moy Foon in Ballarat on 18 February 1884. Lo Kwoi Sang had 2 children from his previous marriage; Caroline Moy Foon had 7. Lo Kwoi Sang was a herbalist who practised in Ballarat in the second half of the nineteenth century.
