- Description
The Denyer’s Building, located at 264 and 266 Swanston St, Melbourne was designed by architect H. W. & F. B. Tompkins, the builder was T. Cockram and was constructed in 1914. This photograph is of the front elevation from Swanston St, the building is in the early stages of construction, scaffolding, hoarding and workman visible. Ajacent buildings of W. J. Purves - Seed Merchant and Ah Mouy Bros. - Tea, Fireworks and Chinese Goods Merchant clearly visible.
