Many pioneers of the town of Wyong were deeply involved in community affairs, and there were numerous organisations that contributed much to civic improvements, among them being the Wyong Progress Assocaition. Here we see the members of that body in 1906.

Dr Cooper lived on the river bank opposite the entrance to Porters Creek, and in those pre-motor car days used to do his rounds riding a bicycle. His inseparable companion was his pet dog (shown here) which used to ride on the handle bars.- Date
