- Description
Lane looking in direction opposite to No. 7.[see D000013] These are house fronts, not rear to drainage. Note Chinese urinal in middle distance. A spout of galvanised iron passes from the interior of the dwelling through a hole in the wall & into a bucket which is to be seen in the lane. The urine from this bucket is constantly overflowing and is always decomposed.'
