Appears to have been taken outdoors. Stands (three quarter length) leaning against a tree trunk, a picket fence, grass and a bush can be seen in the background. He stands with his arms to his sides. He wears: dark bowler hat, jacket, waistcoat (with watchchain), trousers, white shirt with winged collar with bow tie (slightly crooked)
