Halse, in cope, mitre and dalmatic, seated in centre; Fr Cheong to the right, Fr Maynard in chasuble to the left. Halse was a regular visitor to St Peter’s when in Melbourne, especially in summer, when he would bless the fishing fleet at Queenscliff, and then go to the cricket.
