    Note. 1. Narrowness of lane. 2. Overhead dwelling across lane, with ladder leading up to it. This room is occupied though ready at any time to collapse. 3. Type of Chinese window on L. hand wall. 4. Unpaved drain running alongside left hand wall, & containing filthy slime. An unguarded well (shown in illustration no.13.) is sunk within five yards of this drain.
