The Museum of Victoria established a program in the 1980s called 'Biggest Family Album'. Family photographs from around Australia were donated to the Museum of Victoria for copying. These were then digitised and turned into a CD ROM database for use primarily by schools. This database is available on at the web at http://www.museum.vic.gov.au/bfa/database.htm
