Louie Goh Mong - more commonly known as "Charlie" - was a well-respected man. He worked for Mark Foy for 35 years at the Hydro Majestic, Medlow Bath in Sydney. The customers at the store adored him, and it was said that he could easily remember someone's coffee order even if they had not been back for two years.
He was a successful gambler, often finding winnings in Chinese lottery tickets. Later on in his life, Goh Mong went to China and got married there. On returning to Sydney he was easily welcomed back by many of the locals.
